Mutapa font is an Afrikan inspired display font. The name is derived from the famous Mutapa Empire also known as The kingdom of Monomotapa or Mwenemutapa, a medieval kingdom that was located between river Zambezi and Limpopo in what is known today as the states of Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Eastern Zambia.

The font has interesting OpenType features makes it easy for you to create afrikan patterns and make fun & interesting layouts. These Opentype features such as alternate characters and ligatures gives it lots of combination possibilities and makes it great for display purposes!
